Tension Headache

Ir feela like a tight band squeezing around your head, often caused by stress, muscle tension in the neck and shoulders, poor posture, eye strain, or fatigue.

Aromatherapy

Try these simple, quick methods for self-discovery coaching and vibrational healing:

Rosemary - Open your spice rack and inhale the aroma of rosemary several times. This aromatic herb can be a part of your naturopathic guidance for relaxation. You can also apply 2 or 3 drops of rosemary essential oil in one tablespoon of a carrier oil and rub gently on your temples and the neck area.

Peppermint - Similarly, apply 2 or 3 drops of peppermint essential oil in one tablespoon of a carrier oil and rub gently on your temples and the neck area to enhance your well-being.

Heat or Cold Therapy

To relax tense neck and shoulder muscles, consider applying a warm compress, using a heating pad on low, or enjoying a hot shower, which can be particularly beneficial for tension headaches. Alternatively, as part of your self-discovery coaching journey, you might place a cold washcloth, ice pack wrapped in cloth, or cool compress on your forehead or temples to numb pain and reduce inflammation. Many people find that alternating heat and cold works best, with sessions of 10–15 minutes at a time. Integrating these techniques with naturopathic guidance or vibrational healing can enhance your overall well-being.

Self-Massage

Gently massage your temples, scalp, neck, and shoulders using your fingertips in circular motions. This simple technique can be part of your self-discovery coaching journey: Place your thumbs near your cheekbones (by the ears) and use your fingers to rub from temples toward the center of your forehead. Focus on any tight spots (trigger points) in the neck or base of the skull. Incorporating this practice with naturopathic guidance can enhance your vibrational healing, and even just 5–10 minutes can ease muscle tension significantly.

Quick Neck and Shoulder Stretches

Try these gentle moves, which can be beneficial under naturopathic guidance (stop if they increase pain):

Chin tucks: Sit or stand straight, gently pull your chin back (like making a double chin) and hold for 5 seconds. Repeat 8–10 times as part of your self-discovery coaching.

Upper trapezius stretch: Tilt your head to one side, bringing your ear toward your shoulder. Use the same-side hand to gently pull for a deeper stretch. Hold for 20–30 seconds per side, enhancing your vibrational healing practices.

Neck rotations: Slowly turn your head side to side, holding each end position briefly. These movements target the muscles most commonly involved in tension.

Rest in a Dark, Quiet Environment

Lie down in a calm, dimly lit room and embrace the principles of self-discovery coaching. Close your eyes, relax your jaw, and avoid screens. Even 15–20 minutes of this practice, guided by naturopathic guidance, can make a significant difference in your well-being, enhancing your journey toward vibrational healing.
